I have seen the justice system in this country and im not hopeful. its the people who should go away who end up gettin off with it.

if all what is said is true he had pleaded guilty on a load of counts of deception and fraud.

I tried to tell you from the start ryan, why wouldnt you listen. All the evidence was there in front of you. No address for premises, no landline, not even a true registered address for the website which has nothing but pictures taken from other carbon companies website. And just because i was not involved in the group buy, i knew very very quickly into my dealings with jamie that he was telling nothing but lies.
Dont be so gullible next time, and i hope he hasnt had you over for too much money mate.

I take serious offence to being called gullible. so if you wish to continue to disrespect me please don’t bother! Throughout this you have seemed to be nothing more than a keyboard warrior with the a personal problem with the company. As I’m sure from memory a lot of people agreed with. There are ways and means to maturely an professionally convey your opinions and experiences of other companies, which to date you have managed not to do.

All the boxes were ticked in my opinion. It’s called a risk – reward scale. The risk was low reward was good. Hence I dealt with them. I was a little too trusting to let it continue as long as i did but not gullible. If I were gullible I would have lost everyone’s money. did I? NO. I lost a few quid but honestly id spend more on a round in a bar so such is life. I own and run a successful company at aged 23. don’t think you will find many people my age with their own business from start up. never mind gullible ones.

So with respect, take you condescending, disrespectful, childish “I TOLD YOU SO” attitude somewhere else kindly. hate-saluto

have to say i was totally F*ucked over here. sorry to have messsed everyone about he seemed a genuine enough guy. just shows you trust no1. in this i have lost a load of OEM parts and a bit of ££££ but just have to chalk it down to experiance.

there is a full police investigation goin on currently. but they wont say much for obvious reasons. but it would seem if all the stuff that is wrote on the forums is true. he will be goin away for a long spell.

if everyone could let me know there refund has went through when it has that would be great.

HANDS UP, I WAS RIPPED OFF HERE. I AM TO TRUSTING OBVIOUSLY, HOPE THERE ARE NO HARD FEELINGS.

Regards

Ryan

yes the celica and 350z guys appear to be hit hard. my sympathy goes out to them.

Situations like this make me sick. i think to continue to deal with the re accuring problems on the trades sections on sites. better check must be put in place. How i dont know but that way if the forums do there bit and the people like me orginising group buys are smart, do there homework and only thing lost is time.

a simple fee like £30-£50 would happily pay for any checks needing done. also with the amount of forum users spread out over the country it wouldn be to hard to arrange someone to go check them out and petrol would also be covered in the set up fee also. a few simple trade or customer referances wouldnt be to hard to arrange if you a trading company. personaly i think all forums need to look into it. keep everyone safe as this is becoming an ever increasing problem unfortunatly,

Agree,
and as i said way back at the beginning in a non childish non condescending manner, the company tech carbon didnt exist anywhere, was not a ltd company, not vat registered, no premises, no finance in its name anywhere, no landline telephone number, and only a mobile number.
if you find gullible offensive i apologise, maybe just naive to the world of business. Never meant to come across as i told you so, just always wonderedd why you defended this person so vehemently despite others also saying it was looking a little dodgy.

Dont try to be patronising ryan, at your tender age it simply comes across as cocky, you have had to apologise for that over on accord type r forum also.
I am not a keyboard warrior and had nothing to gain from belittling the non existent carbon company.
I am twice your age, and been running companies of my own since i left school, have turned over millions of pounds, sold companies for more than i care to discuss on an open forum and have children as old as you!

Now as for your risk assessment and judgement,
What boxes were ticked.

OK VTecdirect, i think you've moaned and bitched enough about how you told him so on this one. Please can you now drop it, it's getting annoying to keep reading, with your age should come a little more humbleness.

thanks maxx and guys.

vtecdirect.

I actually find you so condesending and arrrogant its laughable

"at your tender age . . " " . . just naive to the world of business" "been running companies of my own since i left school, have turned over millions of pounds . . " seriously Laughing Laughing maby im just picking your tone up wrong but to me it is.

jus to put this to sleep. i defended this company becase to maby people are happy to kick smaller companies when they are down. to say a company is a risk if they dont follow your rediculus checklist is to me is a joke. i deal with loads of great businesses who dont follow you list and gain a far greater service than that i got from companies that ticked them all. also you oly came across as someone who had a bad experiance with them. as the other couple of people did to. every business has people who are not happy with the service even you. im sure.

in my opinion.

Guys real name.....NO! because i was to know he gave me a fake name
Address ..............NO! i have it somewhere.
Landline...............NO! many businesses opperate without one often a hassle and expense small businesses can do with out.
Example of goods..NO! if im sending parts to be copied how could i see this? i was shown copies of his pervious work i was happy with.
References............NO! there are actually a few from their trading before all this happened. when this was set up only good things were online about the company
History..................NO! as above
VAT Number..........NO! any company not turning over what?? £68k does not need to be
Company Register..NO! it is not illegal to not register a company in scotland to the best of my knowlage. unless it is a Ltd. company they dont need to be registared at companies house.

short of goin to personaly visit every company i deal with i couldnt do much more than take a small risk.

anyway we are obviously different people. with different attitudes. who doe things differently.

anyway as said on ATR we obviously clash on this and in attitude. you find me cocky i find you as explained above. i think it best we agree to disagree.

Regards

Ryan

Hi Guys,

For those that are still interested in getting some CF stuff done I have contacted a guy that has been recommended to me, he makes carbon fibre bits for quite a few cars already. When he gets back to me I will let you know.
