After getting all my new suspension and brakes installed I booked the car into get its wheel alignment and camber sorted. Unfortunatly when I got there the guy couldnt get the rear lower arm camber adjustment pin/bush to move, it was siezed up. Chancing my luck I booked the car into my local garage to see if they could remove the pins without harming the bush, but no joy, one pin came out revealing a very tired looking bush and the other was still siezed. Honda said the bush I wanted came as part of the lower arm and they wanted £220 for each side , screw that! BuzzonionVtec (Rich) told me that the 4th gen bushes will fit and that they come separately, they fit perfectly
So back to the wheel place to finally get it sorted:
CLCM Auto
Sighthill Industrial Estate
Edinburgh
EH11 4EJ
On the way there the car felt absolutely awfull, no supprise since the camber on the rear wheels were way off let alone even. After the adjustments the cars rear wheel camber is now perfect, the fronts have 1 degree of negative camber but that was the best that could be got.
Im very happy with the suspension having driven it for a week now, compared to my last lowered lude (springs only) the ride is very smooth and comfortable. Cornering is far better and I feel like im getting better grip from my tyres (noticable on roundabouts). So IMO the coilovers were worth the extra money.
I finally got around to replacing the guff wheel nuts that came with my Rota wheels. The original nuts paint cracked when installing them for the first time and rusted almost immediately. I got my self a set of Muteki 36g slim nuts, £60 delivered from funkypower. I am really please with these, they have been on the car 3-4 weeks and look as good as they day they went on.
I also got myself a front upper strut brace. Knowing that the clutch fluid reservoir needed to be relocated I found a piece of steel and make a bracket for the reservoir.

The bracket I made and sprayed silver

My Mugen replica bumper has been sitting in my spare room for the last 9 months, im finally getting it fitted when I come back from holiday in two weeks. I got the replica spats from Ratty, and im waiting on my replica sides arriving. However, its going to be 10-12 weeks before the sides arrive, I only wanted duraflex ones as I would only go and crack fiberglass. The bumper is duraflex also.
I want to get the bit where the number plate goes filled in to make the front of the bumper one smooth "arch" That leaves me with the problem of where to put the number plate?

Coming along nicely.
Your bracket is a work of art.
I'm not sure about the new bumper though, maybe once it's sprayed up and fitted. _________________

that versus bumper looks better than the one I had, which was IBK or something..
get it on, you wont regret it
why not get a jdm plate to fit in the recess
the one problem I've had with this bumper is the lip near the headlight on the sides is not big enough to slot into the orginal fixing, so mine saggs abit not worked this out yet _________________

Im aiming to go with the exact opposite paint scheme of the car below, the black bits will go with the dark housing of my headlights:
I like how it doesnt have the number plate recess.
The guy the car is going to makes Ferrari replica body kits in his spare time, Im going to try and get him to make me a set of replica indicator/fog covers. I'll see if he can do a couple spare if anyone else wants a set. _________________

Cheers bud. I cant remember the name of the shop I got it from now, but I do know that you will probally be hard pressed to find one in the UK anymore. You would have to import one from the US, or find a UK shop willing to get one for you, but that would take 3-6 months by the time they get it in stock. I just went through the trouble of trying to get the matching skirts .

The replica Mugen bumper goes by the name of Type-M or Techno-M. _________________
