Good work!
The ride height is much better and the brakes look great!
The time spent painting really is worth it.

One tip is to grease the threads on your coilovers.
They arent designed for salty roads to will seize up and you will struggle to free them off in future. Wink

Cheers! Is there any type of grease you recommend? I have silicone grease and copper grease, will either of them do the job?

I'd say copper grease will do the job perfectly bud.

What sort of mods were made to the headlights then?

EDIT : What sort of mods were made to Lude_Dude's headlights? I'm intrigued.

Careful with the grease as crap will stick to it like flies Sad Not sure on copper grease, i'd use silicone if anything.

What i'd use would be BH Ferrosol due to it's suitability for this kind of job.

One thing i would change is the walnut dash.. I like you interior but the walnut stands out too much.. Maybe get a CF one if one comes up cheap.. Idea Very Happy

You can buy a heated seat kit from ebay to have you're seats heated.

Those lights look the business Merlin, although I think they'll look better on my car.
What projectors are they?

I say copper grease as that's what I use on my brake discs, hubs and battery terminals to stop rust and sticking, and that's engineer recommended for the job. But hey, suspension may be a different ball game but wouldn't have thought so

It's probably fine Sal, the only issue being is that copper grease dries out.

Oh, and i truly hope you don't use it on the calipers?

Haha! Yeah, I smear it all over the calipers, pads and brake discs to give me super slick stopping power!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Nah, I put a tiny bit on the shims to stop 'em sticking to the pads but other than that, keep grease the hell away from braking surfaces! hate-rip

And trust me, for the places that I am using the copper grease, it's the exact type of use that the product is made for. Great stuff Wink

I was getting at using it in the sliders Razz

What ever you do, don't do that, it's so wrong and they'll be sticking again in no time.

Its incredible, what difference lowering the ride height on a car makes. Im guessing you've dropped it around 40, maybe 50mm?

I have no idea how much it is lowered by, it does look to be in that range. The instructions said to initially set the suspension 25mm up from the bottom of the thread, and thats the result. It doesnt look too differnt a drop in comparison with my old car that had springs only:

Salazar pm'd hope it helps

working on headlights is a bit fiddly, but hella projectors are a nicer beam

they are the best looking lights IMO of the ebay headlights just its a right bastard that the plate is curved inside of the projector
