If you put the pipe from the front to the wing hole, then so long as the box surrounding the filter is more or less airtight, it'll be pretty close to a ram air system.

Otherwise, if you just want a stock like cold air feed, just boxing off the filter from the engine bay will do that for you Smile

Oh ok i understand now.. hate-teach I think i want a Ram air intake so i can get the cold air from the front of the bumper to get to the filter of the AEM v2..

But is Ram air better than stock?? Confused either way i still love the AEM V2..

I will make a video of the sound before i get the exhaust done so you can see the noise difference on just the AEM V2.. Cool

Would it be possible to carve out the original stock filter box to fit the AEM filter?
Has anybody done this or is it infeasible because of the size/shape difference? hate-idea

Ram air is technically better, though the car isn't setup for it, i wouldn't bother myself. It's not really going to be any colder than it will be from the wing, once you're into the wing area, it's outside air.

Yes mate... Wink
The AEM V2 is excat same in 4th and 5th gen.. There is a tiny difference that if u want to put it in the 4th gen you need two rubber spongy things and in 5th gen you only need one..

AEM V2's filter is situated in the engine bay so i dont think it can be CAI.. And there is no extention pipe availabe to make this a CAI.. AEM v2 was designed to so that it has benifits of CAI and also it was situated in the engine bay so its away from any water...

No mate.. The V2 in prelude does have a long reach but its still located in the engine bay behind the battery..
