plan for hte interior is to get rid of the door cards and get some sheet matal, or plastic or carbon sheets to blank the doors off
dash is staying as it is for now. i'll deal with that at a later date
you dont need anything for the harnesses, there just bolted to the floor
cage will be at a later date too

right so update time,
great sunny afternoon, doorbell rings its dom (crazy_c) with my new buckets seats Smile
so we decided to fit them there and then
so start taking the old seats out

then suddenly this bugger apears overhead Sad

so we think ah sod it, its only a bit of rain, so the seats are out
those with a keen eye will notice the uber rare crossover facelift centre consol with no storage box

we also decided for more weight removal so we took the carpets out and stuff while the seats were out
this is what we removed

installing the new seats, by this time the heavens really opened up with some heavy, heavy showers, thunder, lightening the works Rolling Eyes a couple of times we had to take cover inside the car, completly soaked Sad

by the time we had finished fitting the new seats it pretty much stopped raining, prelude curse strikes again
the seats fitted

a very big thank you to dom for travelling all that way to drop the seats off for me and then giving me a hand to fit them, really apprieciated it, thanks dude Smile

It is unusual and rare, yes. It was only on the 1993 (I think this year is correct) JDM BB1s and BB4s as the transition between pre and post facelift models. The handbrake is in the same position as the pre facelift but has no sex-blocker in the back and relocated buttons to the side before they did the facelift with the relocated handbrake and storage arm rest.

No worries. There is actually a slightly rarer version, or rather, addition to this centre console which was a detachable storage compartment in a similar style to the post-facelift one.

bit of an update:
took the car to Richy at Performance Autoworks this morning
to get the leaking damper swapped over for the good 1 i ordered from K-Sport
and a full 4 wheel laser suspension geometry setup set to fast road spec

big thanks to Richy who said the geometry was way off, its totally transformed the car, it was an absolute pleasure to drive back
seems to have fixed the bouncy rear end too Smile
Will definately be taking my cars there again

also saw Nitin there dropping off his 5th gen, looked pretty smart Smile
