Oh the sheer cheek
Hmm all that glitters ain't gold, but hey I've owned worse
Yuck...some work required here, but, on reflection nothing elbow grease, a wirebrush and some paint can't cure - probably
One concern is this:
I think it's had a wing prang The wing touches the headlight, which is loose and there's over spray on the Spring _________________ Carl

The "dry rust" underneath is similar to my 4g, it's not bad, ie. it can be treated if you catch it, but it's strange how it's formed that way, it's like it's been sat rested for a while.
Get some Bilt Hamber stuff for the rust, it's fantastic;
Now you don't need all of that stuff, obviously, remove the following from the first pic;
Autowash
Autoclay
Autobalm
You can also skimp on the DeoxC, unless you're planning on removing some parts and putting them in a bucket of the stuff (i'll be doing my callipers in it)
The Deox Gel is the same as DeoxC but it sticks to surfaces, so you can so bodywork with it, then coat with the seriously heavy Zinc primer.
For the suspension struts etc, use the Hydrate80, then the zinc primer.
Also check out the rust clinic in the bodywork section for anything else
Shame it's had that knock on the front Can you see anything else as to what's causing the shock height?
Wait for the better/drier weather to do the headlight, take the bulb out and use a hair-dryer/heat gun very gently on the outside of the glass.
I understand it just re-condenses if you do it in this wet weather.
Otherwise, run with your lights on all the time, should work out, oh, check the bulb is actually located in the headlight properly, might of broken the seal a bit, letting the moisture in. _________________

Thanks for all the rust treatment info. I'll certainly be looking into it.
It's actually rain on the outside of the headlight I'm more worried by the fact it wobbles, like some mounting point's broken.
Shock height? No idea it'll probably have to wait until I get it near the brother-in-law's in Wales to get it on his ramps _________________ Carl
