That speaks for itself somewhat, as far as I'm aware Rarerims haven't had any complaints strengthwise. _________________

I think the quality issues were an early thing...I haven't heard of a serious failure for a few years.
Personally, I couldn't be happier with the 16" Rota Circuit 8's and Parada Spec II's on my car....lighter than stock, increased grip and beautiful handling, they look the tits, and they weren't expensive. There is NO WAY I'd spend two to four times as much for slightly lighter and allegedly stronger Mugen whatevertheyares just because they're original and weigh a total of 10kg less. You'll get a better performance increase from dropping a stone or two if you're over 10stone, or getting a carbon bonnet _________________

Love the clean simple look of them
Both the same rims, Spoon simply buy their wheels from Desmond, paint them black and call them Spoon.
16x7 weigh in at 5.4 kg |

Thanks for the info. That wheel weights site is just what I have been looking for thanks! I'm looking to get so really lightweight alloys in the next few months as well, may even change my 17" Motegis for some 16" to save weight.
Love the look of some of those SSR wheels, trying to figure out if the prices they give are for a set or per alloy...
You decided on a set yet MaDMaXX? _________________ 1999 Prelude 2.2 VTi Motegi (H22A8) |

So do Rota do custom stuff. Like colour for example. I want some gunmetal Torques for my Type S but the gunmetal wheels they do are too dark, then there are the steel grey ones but a/ i cant find a UK seller and b/ there a tad to light i think.
Pehaps they could do a lighter gunmetal almost graphite colour. _________________

Kind of, use rarerims.co.uk, "a tad light" is rubbish, don't worry about it
Yeah, gunmetal is dark for them, i don't like their bronze either.
Give Julian a call and have a talk with him, seriously though, ordering custom rims takes months. _________________

So the steel grey rims are good. I was a darker wheel colour but not so dark you cant see the wheel design. Also i like the colour contrast of the New white M3s with the graphits wheels but they look more of a dark grey. Will wait and see how yours turn out if you have indeed gone for steel grey.
Silver in generic but safe.
Iv never been a fan of bronze wheels
I hate polished lips.
White on white can look good but very washed out.
Black is to contrasting and dark.
Gunmetal in Rota form is too dark.
Steel grey look ok.
Oh all on a pearl white Type S. White is kind of a blank canvass. _________________

Hi Max,
What about the jdm integra 15" wheels Enkeis .
They will need a 5mm spacer to clear the front callipers though.
Here is a great site also for wheel weights and fitments.

What, one can get a +55 offset made?
Trust me to find this thread just after sending my 10ish KG Motegis off for a refurb. Bollocks! _________________ Nick
