yo guys! Christ its as far from desktop material as I could imagine but thanks for the positive comments. I really need an indicator piece and a new lip though.. The lip is just off the uk vt innit?
As for your questions mattblack_lude,
wheels are 16x7 , tyres are 205 45 (205 45's are slightly thicker than 195 45's and narrower than 205 50's and seem to be the perfect size). and dunno what more info you want bro - they are GT3's.
TBH its not all sugar and spice, my spine breaks every time i go over a drainage hole (unfortunately the entire main road in our town has them right over the left wheel!) I'm questioning whether its worth the 'coolness' of being so low over sacrificing handling and comfort (the eibachs really werent bad and were still pretty low). I mean it does corner don't get me wrong - I took a 40 bend at 75 tonight and it felt like it wasnt even trying, but it still needs aligned. Also the joys of gettin in and out of my seat with harnesses in tow are very very limited. God help me in a crash |

Nope thats cool, just wondered what size tyres you're running as it just looks 'right'.
Well, PM coming your way too. Anyway, regarding the lip - Im pretty sure its the same as all UK 4th gens, but we aware, they're are two different front lips (i think there are anyway?) ones that are flat all the way across, all one level, quite deep (like yours) and one that are thick round the corners, and then go thinner in the middle.
I might be wrong, but im sure there are different ones... _________________

Not so much of an update here but you know a few little bits have been done.
I got some 12x6 pressed metal reg plates along with adapter to fit.
I got a replacement orange indicator and will remember to screw it in this time
Im swapping my GT3's for some black slipstreams in the same size as I feel they will suit it better.
Also interior wise I have decided to go for some recaro SRDs in black. So up for swapping my sidemount bucket seat if anybody has one going in good nick! The rails im using are Bride RO, so I hope to god they fit at the price!! |
