Tanabe Sustec Pro coilovers (currently at lowest setting)

17" Kei alloys... soon to be sold

ok small picture update ..

Sadly these wheels have to go as I need money until payday But never fear I have my eye on a set of 16's from the states which look hardcore! Secret until revealed I'm afraid though

I took it out for its maiden voyage last night (seriously it hasn't moved in months)... turns out about 3 fuses have blown lol, but I have replacements to put in so all will be fine. I fit the bucket seat in properly and boy it feels great - like a new car.. the suspension is FANTASTIC!! It's non damping adjustable but its just on the right side of firm, not hard and bouncy just brilliant! And for anybody who thinks the car isn't low enough the crossbar is about 3mm off the deck

Only issue now is the brakes to be honest, they are pretty damned scratchy after it being left for so long and I have had a feeling the front driver side caliper has been sticking for quite a while so I think one paycheck soon I should go for some new discs/calipers and pads. Nothing majorly uprated though the car brakes well already - just some uprated pads will suffice I'm sure.

I have swapped the passanger side bucket for a black recaro with red stitching as though the bucket is comfy for me, it's not going to be comfy for any girl over a size 8.

So on the list for immediate purchase are - 16" mystery rims from America. Twin backbox (and possibly remove the mid-box, as is 110db really enough? I mean honestly? - but more for road-obstacles now its on it's arse. I'm planning on customising the rear lights to take out the orange of the indicators also. Don't want to spend much on her this month, just tidying up the odds and ends.

How do you do it, dlongmu?

You car looks great, regardless of what it has on it.

The Racing hart wheels looked great (they look pants on mine).
Those wheels look great.
The new wheels will, probably, look great.

Yes, i am jealous Laughing

Now now Madmaxx, there is no such thing unless the rails are grinding the tarmac! And they should be, my 17's are away, and 16's are now ready to be ordered... in the mean time I swapped my passanger seat for a rather tasty one of these.. very tempted to swap my drivers seat for one too now as these sit lower than the side mount buckets Shocked

2 black recaro's would look awesome Dave. Cool

All the parts your adding are really cool but any plans to tidy up the body work before the rust really takes over?

I'd love to Dave but the worry is the cost, I can't see it being cheap, really i need replace that entire rear quarter panel as theres a holy crease in it behind the rear light as you might remember.

If I go as far as spending 1k+ sorting the body work then its just never going to be worth me selling the car.. And theres quite a lot needs done, new front crossmember, new front bumper, resprayed, new vents etc. realigning, theres a dent in the front tip of the bonnet - so a new bonnet... it seriously adds up if I was to do a proper job.

Any chance of pm'ing me a wee bit of advice on fitting the recaro's to the stock rails? I remember your setup looked decent the little I could see Smile
