Due to recent events it has been agreed that some guidelines are needed for selling / buying items.

It’s all basic stuff so please take time to read this, and remember that not everyone is as honest as they seem!

-Buyers-

• Paypal - Pay for your item by Paypal, it is the safest way to pay plus you are protected by a Buyer Protection scheme, you also have access to a resolution centre, if a dispute is started a dispute resolution specialist will gather information about your transaction and help you resolve the issue.

• Cheque -If the only way to pay for an item is to send a cheque or transfer money make sure you have the sellers full name, e-mail address, phone numbers and full postal address, just in case anything goes wrong.

• Postage - ask how your item is being sent and always ask for a tracking number.

• Cash on collection – obviously the simplest way but not always possible, but may be worth the extra effort as you can inspect what you are buying before parting with any cash!


-Sellers-

• Good communication - the most important thing, if you have a problem with sending an item or any other problem don’t keep quiet just let the buyer know, I’m sure they will understand.

• Once sold - please update as 'SOLD ' in the title and the thread will be locked.

• Postage – Try to give a postage date and stick to it, if possible provide a tracking number.

• Refunds – If you can’t send the item for what ever reason offer the buyer a refund, very easily done if Paypal was used.


-All-

• Correcting or asking questions about a potentially mis-identified item is justified but unjustified slating is not - if you don't like something or YOU think its over-priced - please do not post as your post will be edited/deleted.

• Any threads older than 4 weeks old will be locked, then deleted after a further 4 weeks. Should you wish a thread to be unlocked please contact a member of admin.
