I wanted to recommend these after I got a great service from McGard recently.

I have had a set of McGard wheel nuts on various cars over the years and have had them fitted to the lude since I have had it.

A couple of weeks ago after doing some work on the car and rushing to get things back together and tidied away I left the locking nut key on the locking nut and drove off. Embarassed

I thought that was it I was going to have to hammer a socket on or get the chisel onto them and risk damaging my wheels to get them off. Luckily I managed to find the original packaging which contained an identification code.

I contacted McGard in Germany with the code and managed to order up replacement locking keys for a really good price. (£12 for 1 or £20 for 2 delivered!) I was so chuffed.

They only took 2 working days to arrive from Germany and are a perfect fit. I am really impressed with the service. I dont think I will buy locking wheel nuts from any other manufacturer. Smile

Will give these a try. Thanks for the heads up. Quality lacking nuts is what we need.

The Honda "Genuine Accessories" locking wheel nuts are McGards. If you lose the key you only have to go to a Honda dealer for the replacement.

I have two sets of the Honda locking nuts, both different styles. One is on my car and the other is on ebay, both have McGard engraved on the "keys"/sockets. Also, I have seen the same styles being sold as McGards, so I'm certain they are made by them.

As new Honda locking nuts go for around £5 - £15 on ebay, I think they are a good deal.

However, I have no idea how much the Honda dealers charge for a new key. Rolling Eyes
