I think in the leather industry they have special instruments to measure the thickness. 1.3mm was the thickness stated on the listing when I bought it.
The leather I bought is very, very soft and supple.
The more my interior changes, the more I need to do or buy to match everything up.
This month has been quite expensive for me so the mats can wait, but I agree they would look so much better.
Maybe they can be the final touch once I finish the re-trim and get some rear seats.
I'll check my speedo tomorrow and see what's what. _________________

They look great Push.
The foam really does make all the difference doesn't it?
I do fear that you may be redoing them though looking at your choice of glue. I've done mine three times now. First time was spray glue like you've used. That came unstuck in parts during hot summer days. Second time I used Evo contact adhesive. Still no good came unstuck over time. Third And last time I added the foam and use the best glue I can find specifically for car retrims. Not cheap but worth it - got it from a place called Woolies on the net.
Hope yours holds out though. _________________
