Wow! She's looking fantastic bud.
Those seats!
Mighty fine job you made on them...and the speaker pods. Think the carpet panel that the speakers are on could do with some too now.
I've got the tool set but I'm missing a couple of the spanners.
Nice choice of pedals of course.
I've seen the ones cheap on ebay and have sceptical of the price but the pics and everything look fine. I think they've got to be fake at those prices, but I couldn't tell the difference. May order a set then??? _________________

Rear Brake Pads, Rear Windscreen Moulding, Rear Bumper Sag
I’ve been plodding on doing bits and pieces on my car while the weather’s still nice.
I found some genuine Honda OEM brake pads on eBay. Honda part # 43022-SL5-525
They had the shims and a sachet of Molykote with them too.
A bargain at £13.20 including postage.
I’d never changed brake pads before, but with a bit of advice, I found it quite easy.
I will be refurbishing and painting my calipers at some point in the future.
I'd like to get them powder-coated if that's possible.
I ordered a rear windscreen moulding from Lings, as mine had seen better days. Honda part # 73251-SS0-000
I took it off and found this.
I cleaned up the area, pleased to find no rust.
After painting around the holes with some anti-rust paint and protecting the paintwork with some Chemical Guys sealant, I fitted the new moulding.
.·:*¨¨*:·..·:*¨¨*:·.MaDMaXX’s Top Tips .·:*¨¨*:·..·:*¨¨*:·. If you’ve never read MaXX’s project thread, then I suggest you do, as he has some genius ideas.
Does your rear bumper sag?
Mine used to.
I bought a roll of 6mm neoprene foam tape.
I took my bumper off. Once again, no rust, (excuse the phone pic’).
I stuck a strip of tape on the bar that the bumper rests on, leaving the holes exposed.
Once I’d fitted the bumper back on it sat higher, reducing the gap.
I think that 6mm tape was a little too much, as it was quite difficult putting the trim clips back in.
If you’re going to do this, I would suggest getting about 4mm.
Thanks to MaXX for the tips and inspiration.
Here’s how my interior looks at the moment.
I’m working on re-trimming with leather and cleaning the centre console.
I still haven’t got any leather rear seats yet either.

Looking good Push, glad i could help. You'll find that it's probably the right thickness as it crushes down once it's sat for a week.
I had a real hard time putting the pins in, but you can just about do it, it will crush a bit with time so don't worry.
I can't believe just how clean and rust free your back end is, i'd be all over it with Dynax S50 to make sure it doesn't start going this winter! _________________

That's been postponed until next year.
I'm easily distracted. _________________

Nice one Push!
Your lude really is in good nick! No rust at all!
Good job of the rear lower trim. How much was it if you don't mind me asking? I replaced the rubber one that goes up the sides and across the top for when the screen came out. That was about £70 from my local stealer and they wanted the same again for the bottom trim!
it's looking tired against the rest and polishing compound has got to it. Was thinking of a quick matt or satin respray. Lings Honda cheaper at all?
Good call on the rubber pad strip. I did think that was a good piece of maxx genius! _________________

It cost me £59.11 + £8.87 VAT, total £67.98
If your order comes to over £30, the carriage is free.

I waxed the car a couple of weeks ago, and just to finish it off, I gave the exhaust a quick going-over with Autosol. _________________

Very, very slick Push, i love it
Still trying to work out how to get my console lid covered though, is that leather you used thinner than the gaiter leather?
The LED in the hazard light switch is only for the dash dimmer lights, ie, when the lights are on, you'll see the switch, it doesn't flash when the hazards are on
Anyway, looking fantastic, just wish you had matching mats, i never understood the zebra print mats when the car is in black leather, also, you're doing 10kph there, whats with that? _________________

Yes it is quite thin. I think it's about 1.3mm thick.

Thanks, yeah I am seriously considering buying some black mats now, although these zebra mats are lovely and plush, and they're JDM Y0!
I don't know what's going on with my speedo. I've never noticed it before.
I shall have to investigate. _________________

So the leather's about the same thickness then?
Black mats would match so much better, as much as the zebra's are JDM etc etc, they just don't match anything else in the car
I think my speedo drops to zero when it's powered, it hovers a tad above it when it's off. _________________
