Interior looks great bri, nice and furry Laughing

changing the steering column is not a big job, but its just if the column matches the steering rack splines

You could always change the steering rack, and so on, until you have an S2000 sat on the drive Laughing

Just wondered what glue you went for in the end? Manufacturers name?

It is called Pre Fix heavy duty spray adhesive. Got it from a builders merchant and it does say its suitable for doing car interiors Cool

Hey, Bri. Two years on, can you tell me whether the adhesive you used is still holding?
I've used a similar spray adhesive and am now worried it will start to bubble during the Summer.

Great write-up btw. Wink

Sorry to worry you bud.

It was just to warn you. I hope it holds up ok. Is your's garaged alot of the time too? May help. Mine was on the drive during these times with the sun on it for long periods.

If it ever becomes an issue PM me and I'll sort you out a cheap pot of the glue I used. It's such a big tin I barely used 10% of it. Wink

Interested to see how Bri's is holding out too. Taffyludes panels were done by Bri too. How's his?

I was concerned about the adhesive from the beginning but went ahead with it anyway. hate-nonono
My car is out in the elements all year round.

Did you stick your material directly onto the metal insert to begin with and that's when it bubbled?
I'm hoping that with the foam in between, it will add a little extra adhesion.

Thanks for the glue offer. I hope I won't have to take you up on it. Wink

To be honest I have had some issues with bubbles appearing. I think I need to use more glue and wait a bit longer so it goes tacky. The glue I used is the same stuff I recloth pool tables with, the new cloth on slates can come undone a bit when its left in the sun as the glue can go tacky again.

Im not having drastic problems but its enough to warrent another lick of glue. Will take some more detailed pics.

The door cards seen in those pics are of my old interrior I have done a new set since in velour. There is more info on my lude profile too. HTH

It's just hard plastic like the rest of the door card. Razz
