Hey bri!

Looking good, very good indeed.

How are the door card inserts holding up with the glue/funky foam you used??? Be honest now, is any part coming loose yet or is it OK! Still on the cards for mine to be redone with the foam you see.

TBH I did mine during the winter but it wasn't until the heat in the summer that they worked loose a little in places.

I am being 100% honest when I say No problems what so ever Very Happy I dont think there will be either as I used PLENTY of glue and its good stuff.

Im happy with how they turned out and the later sets I did were even better than mine.

Ive just got a sewing machine so I will be doing gear gaters soon and who knows maybe more... Razz

Suits, Jumpers or maybe wedding dresses maybe ?

Or you could make some nice Vinl gear for the bedroom Razz

but seriously, the interior looks great and the seats are pretty good as well.

Well its been a while, and I went away from leatherette but I finally had my re-trim nthe way I wanted it. I posted pics on my profile but I thought I should post here again too.

I would concider doing this for anyone who wishes to do somthing similar, but it will cost (less than the price of one new bucket seat!) Very Happy

Anyway here are some pics of my almost completed interior Razz

A red steering wheel should put the finishing touches to it along with new floor mats.

Very cool mate, loving it.

Manage to source a hub to mount your wheel yet?

I think I've found two options:

1) HKB Boss for SRS systems but to find one in the UK it's like £100-150ish!

2) Do away with your SRS cable reel completely and retro fit either the horn only ring or the horn & cruise 3 prong bit in lieu of the cable reel and fit a Momo like the rest.

Mines looking like the later as I need the cruise working seeing as though my Mugen wheel has buttons especially.

Let me know, I do spy a hub sitting behind the front seat in your pics. Wink

Haha well spotted. I robbed 2 off Taffylude. I have no idea if they are the right onees for cruise or 4WS ect, just have to see. Its a pain in the arse not knowing which boss for which car. If it means I loose cruise then so be it, I never use it anyway. At least it can all be put back to stock should the need arise.
I may even shelve the momo if I can find out if an S2K wheel will fit a lude, and if the SRS are compatable, if thats the case I may sell my red MOMO. Confused

Unfortunately, the S2k wheel only fits the 5th Gen IIRC, as the 4th Gen has a different spline pattern.

Interior looks great Bri, definitely looks more 'red' in the flesh (damn camera making thinks look pink Rolling Eyes ).

Cool, sounds like yours will be easier than mine then. Let me know if you get one to fit and take a few pics of the boss' before fitting so I know cheers. Wink

And as said above, a no no on the S2K wheel because of the splines. One of the many bosses I got from Momo, one of which was the 5th gen/S2k hub, would not go. The notches are in the wrong place. Not a problem I thought as I could add what I needed. But I too read that the splines were different. I physically counted the number of grooves in the spline to verify 100% they won't go.

As for changing out the column??? Don't think anyone has got that far to pursue it TBH. I guess as they always say, anythings possible. Very Happy
