Some good ideas there chuffter, and don't forget the donation doesn't have to be £10, it can be whatever you want, or if you had a couple of quid doing nothing in your paypal account, you could do a lot worse than just to donate it to PUK

I don't see that there should be any elitism from those that have paid, and it shouldn't make non-payers feel left out. I've never come across any negativity to noobs etc on PUK and I don't think this will change that atmosphere we have here. Some people might not use this site as much as others and if they don't want to pay then fair enough, I'm sure Mat appreciates every penny and pound that is going into the PUK coffers

I don’t want there to be any elitism for members that have made a donation, but creating the new rank ‘PreludeUK Supporter 2007.’ Just shows that the donation is very much appreciated!

There won’t be any special privileges or anything like that, and people who don’t make a donation wont be different in any way, the new rank can be changed but I think we are a very friendly lot so it shouldn’t cause any problems.
